We always e-file both AP and EAD even when we dont use them. I recenly filed mine 2 weeks ago. Its easy and fast.

I have my Perm approved and my PD became current so i'm able to file I-485 but i have a couple of questions.
My fiancee was in US on J1 with 2 year HRR that is not up until Jan 15, 2008. She has been back to the US twice since she left (Jan 15, 2006) on B1/B2 visa. We plan to get married. When should we do it for her to be able to come to the US under my I-485 when her 2year HRR is up.
Please advise. I just sent an e-mail to my attorney but she's on vacation until Jun 19... I guess i'm too anxious to find out what my options are.

I'm trying to figure out how to make a 3d vector animation of a person walking or dancing. more specifically, the outline of a person walking/dancing.
I've seen this before on other sites, but can't remember where. sometimes it's the 3d outline animation, sometimes its asingle-color 2d animation. does that make sense. I'll try to post an example if I find one.
Anyway, does anyone know this process or know of a place that shows how it's done? thanks.

USCIS has specifically answered a very similar question in 2004. The answer is "A change of status take effect automatically on the effective date noted in the [approval notice], even if there is an intervening admission...."

I am planning to use AC21 and start a new job on EAD, although the reason I am telling my present employer is that I am going to home country and may or may notcome back. what happens if the employer revokes the H1B or can he ask uscis to stop all the immigration matters with me. I have finished 180 days hatch period ...:)

I am planning to renew my passport. Current passport is going to expire in October 2008.
Currently my I-485 is pending. If I renew my passport, do I need to update my renewed passport number to USCIS?
I never updated USCIS about the new passport.Recently I re-entered US and used a new passport with AP. I had no issues at all. So, I think it shoud be ok. They may just update your new passport number in the system when you re-enter the country the next time.

I applied for my EAD and AP extension on AUG 17 2009 and my EAD was expiring on AUG 29th 2009. While my wifes EAD and AP got approved, I had an RFE as I had not sent the recent photographs so I sent that and the receipt date for that was OCT 9 2009.
I continued working and got paid, after speaking to friends I realized, getting paid on a Expired EAD is not right.
I have taken a infopass to discuss this with USCIS to get an update.
One more point I wanted to make was that my payroll company doesn't know about this and doesn't care. But if I bring it up then .they might immediately terminate my employment.
How do I fix this? Please suggest.

AP not yet received. But EADs have been received for me and my husband (primary applicant). However, my daughter is yet to receive her EAD. Anybody with a similar case? I tried calling IO in USCIS but they say that it may come any time within 90 days of the notice date (not the receipt date!):mad:
